AChristmas Miracle- A Christmas Cow!

This is how Jamesey went to Aunt Mary's today.  It was a Christmas Miracle!
Please notice the football that he would NOT let go of...
This outfit was a gift from Caroline (a friend of mine) for his birthday.
I was thinking, Jamesey better wear this now before he's too big!

Love you all,
Kim

From Graduation To More Love....

Well folks, it happened, Roxanne graduated Saturday from UNT. It was so exciting, we had family and friends in town to celebrate. There is other videos, but here is mine from the recessional of graduates. How cute is Roxanne in her little tights?

Here are a few graduation pictures (I didn't take as many as I thought I would) and a party picture.

How about this, this morning I was packing Jamesey away in the car (we were in the garage hence the darkness) and listen to him saying "I love you"...

I know, I know sooo stinking cute!

Ode to my husband (I know, I know gag).

I love this song, the first time I heard it I automatically thought of Ben. I read two quotes the other day that reminded me of the love I have for him.

"How blessed I am that I can walk beside you, lean upon you, and live within the warmth of your love." -Roy Lessin

"Your task is not to seek for love, But merely to seek and find All the barriers within yourself That you have built against it." Rumi

I hope you enjoy it and it makes your skip a beat like it did for me.

Love to you all!

Celebrate History - Just a fun fact from a loving teacher (me)!

(<-- this was the only picture I could find with people drinking...Funny, it had to be (from left to right) Nick, Brad and Zach).. Love you guys!

Today marks the 75th Anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition, so expect to see the city's bars packed with rowdy drunks tonight...kinda like every Friday. Only tonight, it's debauchery with an eye on history! For on this day in 1933, the 21st amendment to repeal prohibition was ratified by Utah, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, achieving the three-fourths of states necessary to ratify Constitutional amendments proposed by Congress. Try remembering this fun fact tonight in the sodden haze: The 21st amendment is the only time a Constitutional amendment has repealed another amendment! True story.

When you're a teacher, you never stop teaching....

Thanksgiving 2008

Being a teacher, we get a little extra time off compared to the rest of the workforce. However, here is my major issue: It's just long enough, to make you wish it were your Christmas Break!

I know, I know, this makes me feel so ungrateful at a very grateful time (Thanksgiving).

I love my job and lovvvvve Thanksgiving, but this holiday makes me antsy for Christmas.

While we were in Lubbock, we spent a fabulous amount of time with family (especially our Grandma, but we always want more ...Theme of this blog: KIM IS GREEDY). We also discovered my 15 month old son loves football and loves saying "Hike!". Needless to say, this, made Ben and my Dad very happy. Take a look here!

Here is another from Jamesey's car ride home (from Lubbock to Dallas).

Happy Holidays!
